Families are still expected to care for all their lodgers’ needs in the interim, however, including electricity, water, food, refuse, internet access, and all the comforts of the modern Irish home.
Around 20,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Ireland so far, with the Government pleading with ordinary people to take in as many as possible. Unelected Taoiseach Micheal Martin meanwhile has not yet confirmed how many refugees will he accept in his own home.
