Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has stated that the future of the Irish economy is going to be digital and will not change back as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Varadkar said that the pandemic accelerated the future of the economy by approximately 15 years, stating that our economy is “going to be green and is going to be digital,”.
He added that the world has changed in the last year or two since the beginning of the pandemic and that we have probably come on 15 years in terms of digital transformation.
