Staff at Mayo University Hospital have alleged that cancer patients remained in Covid-19 wards days after their consultants requested they be removed at the height of the pandemic.
Anonymous complaints made to Michael Kilcoyne, an independent councillor, in May by staff members raised a number of concerns about the Castlebar hospital.
